HDL 50-A vibes for Vibration Tour 2019

Vibration Tour 2019, the summer tour of free concerts, reiterates its success. The private French music radio station Vibration arranged a series of free concerts in the Center-Val de Loire region, bringing together the artists of the moment, along with more than 120 000 people in the Center-Val de Loire region: Tours, Blois, Le Mans, Orléans, and Châteauroux. Top charts artists such as Mika, Ridsa, Yannik Noah, Arcadian, Amel Bent, and many others performed with RCF HDL sound systems, provided by Dilatech.

Vibration repeats its trust in XCPH Organization for the event production, who is in charge of the whole management and technical production. With 30 years of experience, a vast fleet of trucks, and 2000 square meters of warehouses full of first-class equipment, XCPH is one of the most esteemed production companies in France. The sound system is entirely deployed in collaboration with Dilatech, RCF approved support service for France.

“This is my first time working in this production, and after ten days of continuous daily work on the HDL system, I am very proud of the success of this touring line array.”

“The HDL System is an excellent series from RCF, with effective networked control and a fast and easy rigging system. If you add this to the astounding sound-quality and the unbeatable value, there are no competitors,” states Thomas Landriot, sound system manager for Dilatech. “Only two persons are operating and managing all the HDL audio system, and when the system is up and running, the configuration via RDNet is quick and smooth.”

The touring package comprises two clusters of 2x10 HDL 50-A and 10 SUB 9006-AS in two lines electronically curved in endfire configuration (which allows the bass to be opened a little more on the outside and projected in front). Two side fills with 5 HDL 28-A, four cluster delays with four HDL 30-A each, 2 HDL 28-A as front/lip-fills. All managed through the CR16 control rack (CONTROL8 and DX1616 matrix). A good number of RCF ST Series monitors are also available for artists and DJ on stage.

“This is my first time working in this production, and after ten days of continuous daily work on the HDL system, I am very proud of the success of this touring line array.” continues Thomas Landriot. “The touring artists are happy with the final sound, and I am even more impressed with the whole sound performance in terms of power and intelligibility with live music.”
