Das RDNet Control 8 ist ein Echtzeit-Monitor- und Steuersystem, das in der Lage ist, bis zu 256 Geräte zu verwalten (32 pro Bus bei 8 Bussen). Alle von den Slaves erfassten Daten werden über USB (bei lokaler Installation) oder Ethernet (bei entfernter Installation) an den Soundtechniker übermittelt. Die Schnittstelle kann direkt über das exklusive RDNet-Protokoll mit dem Onboard-DSP von HDL-Produkten verbunden werden. Dadurch ist es möglich, einzelne Lautsprecher oder Lautsprechergruppen, spezifische Voreinstellungen oder Änderungsparameter in Echtzeit anzusprechen. Das wichtigste Merkmal von RDNet Control 8 ist jedoch, dass eine minimale Verzögerungszeit (mindestens 5/Sek.) der gesamten Systemdatenleistung, wie RMS-Signale, Kompressoraktivitäten, Temperaturen, Lüftergeschwindigkeiten und Warnungen sichergestellt wird.
