RCF Arena 2023: A Summer of Unforgettable Concerts
Reggio Emilia, Italy - The RCF Arena hosted a series of unforgettable concerts this past summer, featuring some of the biggest names in international and Italian music. Supporting each event as both the main PA system and/or delay lines, the new premium GTX line array from TT+ Audio delivered stunning sound quality for every performance.
The summer concert season kicked off with the Italian bluesman Zucchero holding two concerts for an audience of 40,000 each. A few days later, the "Italia Loves Romagna" special benefit concert raised 3 million Euros for victims of the devastating floods that impacted the Emilia-Romagna region. With a large sponsorship provided by RCF and other brands, 100% of ticket sales were donated to the cause. The lineup was truly impressive, featuring some of the biggest names in Italian music including Laura Pausini, Salmo, Elodie, Gianni Morandi, Blanco, Elisa, Emma, Giorgia, Luciano Ligabue, Madame, Fiorella Mannoia, Zucchero, Negramaro, Max Pezzali, Tananai, Andrea Bocelli, and the duo Irama & Rkomi.
The RCF Arena also hosted other major concerts throughout the summer, including performances for 100,000 fans by Harry Styles, 80,000 by Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, and the 'La Festa' event featuring Daniele Silvestri, Manuel Agnelli, and comedian Giuseppe Giacobazzi.
RCF provided 410 high-end loudspeaker modules from its premium brand TT+ Audio, featuring the new GTX line array and GTS double 19" subwoofers for approximately 2 MegaWatts of sound power. The sound system consists of a main system at the sides of the stage, with 4 line arrays covering the frontal area and an additional 10 systems distributed on permanent delay towers with coverage spanning the grassy, guitar-pick-shaped enclave of more than 85,000 square meters, where the slope descends toward the stage.
Each concert was a huge success, with the TT+ Audio GTX line array playing a key role by delivering stunning, high-quality sound that delighted fans and artists. The RCF Arena once again proved itself as one of Europe’s premier concert venues.
